Unlimited POP account collection

You may have a number of different email addresses, and have to collect emails from a number of different mailservers or POP servers. 020 can be set up to pick up mail sent to any number of different email addresses at the same time. 020 can also be set to do this automatically.

Unlimited incoming message filtering

Filters enable you to direct incoming emails into different folders you have set up. For example, you might want all email from a particular company to go into one folder, or from a particular URL. You might be a member of a discussion list and want that email filtered out from your main mail. With 020 you can set up any number of filters which work by identifying key words that might appear in any of the email header fields including the To, From, and Subject fields.

Instant messaging - pager forwarding

020 can notify you of incoming email messages either via the ICQ network or on a PageOne MiniCall pager if you have one (UK only). This is a unique feature for web based email.

The pager forwarding is particularly useful if you only want to log in to you email when you know a message has arrived, or if you are travelling and want to keep up with your mail. ICQ is a desktop message alert program which when combined with 020 will alert you to messages received without you having to have a browser with 020 open.

Unlimited folder set up

You will find it easier to administer your email if you can set up different folders for different subjects or contacts. 020 allows any number of folders to be set up.

Attachment handling

020 allows you to attach any files and documents to outgoing emails and import files attached to incoming emails.

Signatures

Any number of signatures can be set up and either attached to outgoing emails automatically or by selection.

Address book

The integral address book allows you to store, manage and use all your contact email addresses to save you time in sending mail.

Selectable outgoing email addresses

If you are collecting mail from a number of different mail accounts, you may also want to send your mail from different email addresses. When composing outgoing messages, all your email addresses are selectable so the mail can appear to have come from any of your addresses.

No added tagline to your outgoing messages

020 does not add its own message to your mail.

Customisable interface

In designing 020 we have recognised that different people will want different display layouts, different amounts of information and will be using different sized screens. Many of the screen layouts in 020 can be customised to suit your preferences. You can choose how many mails you show on a page, and sort messages by Name, Subject or Date.

Draft message storage

Often you will find that you do not want to send a message immediately, either because you haven't finished it, aren't completely happy with it, or need to check some facts before sending it. 020 allows you to save draft messages in a special drafts folder so you can come back to them. They are deleted from the drafts folder when eventually sent.
